The addition of John and Paul brings a wealth of entrepreneurial acclaim across a spectrum of products and industries. With their direction, they will help COMPAS build upon our foundation and expand the platform’s success.
John Lillig has over 30 years of experience in the management & guidance of life science and clinical diagnostics operations. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Agena Bioscience and also serves on the Boards of Manta Instruments and IRORI Technologies. Before Agena, John served as Senior VP and Managing Director of the Brooks Life Science Systems Division of Brooks Automation. Prior to Brooks, John was the Founder, Chairman, President, and CEO of Nexus Biosystems. Before founding Nexus, John served as CTO for Discovery Partners International (DPI) and VP of DPI’s Systems Division. Prior to DPI he served as Division Manager of the Analytical Systems Division of Bio-Rad Laboratories. Earlier in his career, John held several key management positions at Beckman Instrument’s Life Science and Clinical Diagnostics operations.
Paul brings a great deal of product expertise to COMPAS. Today, Paul is the Group Product Manager and Co-Founder of one of Google’s new autonomous units – a top secret startup within Google – that resulted in Google Consumer Surveys. Prior to Google Consumer Surveys, Paul led product strategy and development for Gmail. He has also worked on Google’s commerce, advertising, and cloud computing efforts launching Google Checkout, Google App Engine and several optimization products for AdWords advertisers.
